Achieving FiveStar Service Excellence
Do you know all there is about customer service? Does your service delivery stand out from the rest? Are you going in the right direction to keep and grow your customer base? If your business could use a refresher, plan on attending an upcoming customer service workshop sponsored by the Hatfield-McCoy Convention & Visitors Bureau, Friday, April 30th, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM at the Chief Logan Lodge and Conference. The workshop will be conducted by Rita Suiter, Owner of FiveStar Customer Service Strategies, Valdosta, GA. Suiter is a Certified Customer Service Specialist who has in-depth firsthand experience in the tourism and service industries.
The workshop is open to any business in the community interested in improving their overall service delivery. Employers are urged to take advantage of this free training opportunity by sending their front-line and supervisory staff to brush up on their service skills.
According to Suiter, service skills are essential skills personally and professionally! A community-wide focus on quality service must be forethought in today’s destination marketplace. According to the American Society for Training and Development, “companies that invest in training outperform the market by more than 45%. Companies that don’t underperform by 22%.
According to Debrina Williams, Managing Director of the Hatfield-McCoy CVB, “service is the only business in the tourism industry and visitors are the lifeblood.” Regardless of industry changes, high touch, will also ways supersede high tech.
In today’s economic climate, it’s no longer “business as usual.” Businesses must raise the bar on meeting and exceeding the changing needs of today’s customer.
If you are hungry to adopt powerful resolutions to give you a winning customer experience edge in 2010, attend the upcoming workshop and walk away with fresh, innovation and proven customer service concepts and techniques.
